Argentina is now going to require all tourists from the U.S., Canada, and Australia who arrive to Argentina by airport, land, or cruise to pre-pay this fee via the internet prior to arrival and to have a printed copy of the receipt showing payment.
To pay this fee, please visit the following site: The National Immigration Agency (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones) has added a new form of payment of the reciprocity rate through the Provincia Payment System. Until now, this fee was paid upon arrival at the airport (either Aeroparque or Ezeiza). Effective October 31, 2012 for arrivals to Aeroparque and effective December 29, 2012 for arrivals to Ezeiza International airport, all U.S. Australians and Canadians tourist or business visitors must pay the reciprocity rates with their credit card through the on-line system. After these dates, cash payments will NOT be accepted at the airports or border controls.
