    The Andean Crossing Premium is a 5-day hiking expedition through the heart of Patagonia, linking Argentina and Chile across one of the most scenic routes in the Andes. Starting near Bariloche at the base of Tronador Volcano, the journey follows remote trails through dense Valdivian rainforest, alpine valleys, and historic mountain passes.

    Join the scenic Lake Crossing from Varas to Bariloche, traveling by boat and bus along the northern side of Mount Tronador.. A beautiful way to start  the journey! Once in Bariloche our transport will take us to Pampa Linda at the base of Mount Tronador. Settle in and rest well tonight—tomorrow we start early.

    The trail begins gently, following the Cauquenes River upstream through dense bamboo and Nothofagus forest. We stay under the forest canopy most of the day until reaching the border monument, where we officially cross into Chile. From here, we descend for about three more hours with stunning views of the mountain’s southern slopes. Night at Baguales Hut

    We continue through pristine Valdivian rainforest toward La Junta, where the Esperanza and Blanco rivers meet. Here we find the famous Vuriloche Hot Springs, once used by Indigenous communities as a sacred site. Enjoy the natural pools while dinner is prepared. Night at La Junta Hut.

    Enjoy an incredible day at La Junta. An incredible opportunity to have a day in the middle of the Andean Range. Either rest, have a short walk, bath on the pools or on the crystal clear Esperanza River. Relax and Enjoy!
