These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, travel arrangements, tours, expeditions, and services provided by Dittmar Adventures.

These Booking Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Website Terms of Use, Waiver and Release of Liability, and any other written information provided to you before confirmation of your booking, form the basis of the agreement between you and Dittmar Adventures (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company”).

Dittmar Adventures is an adventure travel company specializing in customized travel experiences throughout Patagonia, Chile and Argentina. Our operations, reservations, and services may be managed through affiliated entities, local partners, guides, suppliers, and operational teams based in Chile, the United States, and other regions where we operate.

Please read these Booking Conditions carefully, as they outline the respective rights, responsibilities, and obligations of all parties involved.

In these Booking Conditions, references to “you” and “your” include:

  • the person making the booking,
  • all persons included in the booking,
  • anyone on whose behalf a booking is made,
  • any person added to the booking after confirmation,
  • and any person to whom the booking is transferred.

By confirming a booking, submitting a deposit, participating in a trip, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Booking Conditions and all related policies referenced herein.

1. Booking & Deposits

A booking is considered confirmed once:

  • the required deposit has been received,
  • participant information has been submitted,
  • written confirmation has been issued by the Company.

The Company reserves the right to decline bookings at its discretion.


2. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise specified:

  • deposits are non-refundable,
  • final balances must be paid prior to departure,
  • unpaid balances may result in cancellation.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • bank transfer,
  • credit card,
  • approved online payment platforms.

Participants are responsible for bank fees, currency conversion fees, and transaction costs.


3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees may vary depending on:

  • destination,
  • accommodations,
  • season,
  • suppliers,
  • permits,
  • transportation providers.

Refund eligibility may decrease closer to departure dates.

Certain services may be fully non-refundable, including:

  • park permits,
  • domestic flights,
  • special reservations,
  • third-party services.

The Company strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance.


4. Changes by Participant

Requested itinerary modifications may:

  • incur additional costs,
  • require repricing,
  • depend on supplier availability.

The Company cannot guarantee requested changes after confirmation.


5. Changes by the Company

The Company reserves the right to modify:

  • itineraries,
  • accommodations,
  • transportation,
  • guides,
  • schedules,
  • activities,

when necessary for operational, environmental, or safety reasons.

The Company will attempt to provide reasonable alternatives whenever possible.


6. Travel Documentation

Participants are responsible for:

  • valid passports,
  • visas,
  • vaccination requirements,
  • entry documentation,
  • customs compliance.

The Company is not responsible for denied entry or travel disruptions caused by documentation issues.


7. Health & Safety

Participants acknowledge that adventure travel involves physical activity and remote environments.

Participants are responsible for:

  • evaluating their fitness level,
  • following guide instructions,
  • carrying required medications,
  • disclosing relevant medical conditions.

The Company may deny participation if safety concerns arise.


8. Liability Limitations

The Company acts as an intermediary with hotels, transportation providers, guides, national parks, and local operators.

The Company is not liable for:

  • acts of third parties,
  • weather disruptions,
  • strikes,
  • political instability,
  • natural disasters,
  • lost luggage,
  • transportation delays,
  • force majeure events.

Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.


9. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for delays, modifications, cancellations, or failures resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

  • extreme weather,
  • wildfires,
  • pandemics,
  • government restrictions,
  • civil unrest,
  • transportation failures,
  • natural disasters.

10. Environmental Responsibility

Participants agree to respect:

  • national park regulations,
  • wildlife,
  • local communities,
  • Leave No Trace principles.

Failure to comply may result in removal from activities without refund.


11. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, itineraries, photographs, text, logos, and media associated with Dittmar Adventures remain the property of the Company unless otherwise stated.

Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use is prohibited.


12. Privacy

Participant information is collected and processed in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations.


13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by applicable Chilean law and/or the jurisdiction in which the Company legally operates.


14. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or participating in any service provided by the Company, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
